Kiosk Component

In this section you will find the steps that describes the how to install the Kiosk.

System Requirements:
To ensure the proper functioning of the kiosk, please make sure your system meets the following requirements:

  1. Operating System:
    Windows 64-bit OS 10 or higher is required.

  2. Web Browser:
    Google Chrome browser or Microsoft  Edge WebView2 runtime installed is required.

Requirements

Please follow the steps below to set up and run the kiosk on your system:

Operating System:

Ensure that your system is running on Windows 64-bit OS 10 or a higher version.
If you are unsure about your operating system version, you can check it by following these steps:

  • On your keyboard, press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

  • Type "winver" (without quotes) and press Enter.
    A dialog box will appear displaying the version and

build number of your operating system.

Web Browser:

Install either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser on your system.
If you already have one of these browsers installed, please make sure it is up to date.
To install Google Chrome, visit the official Google Chrome website (https://www.google.com/chrome) and follow the instructions provided.
To install Microsoft Edge, visit the official Microsoft Edge website (https://www.microsoft.com/edge) and follow the instructions provided.

WebView Installation (for Microsoft Edge users):

Microsoft Edge requires WebView to be installed separately to run certain web applications.
To install WebView, follow these steps:

  • Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows system.

  • Search for "Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime" in the search bar.

  • Select the appropriate WebView2 Runtime version for your system.

  • Click on the "Install" button to start the installation process.

  • Once you have met all the system requirements and completed the installation steps, you are ready to run the kiosk application.

If you encounter any issues or require further assistance, please contact our support team for prompt help.

The kiosk application require an internet connection to function properly.

Setup

Execute the ePRINTit application setup and click on Next button.

License Agreement

Read the License Agreement, click on I accept the agreement radio button and click o Next button.

Component Selection

In the components combo box, select the ePRINTit Kiosk Print Release component and click on Next button.

Click on Create a desktop shortcut and click on Next button.

Click on Install button.

The installing progress bar will be displayed.

Once the installation is completed, keep the Launch ePRINTit Application field marked and click on Finish button.
